Weather Spotter Training Class - (Spotter-1)

The Rogers County Emergency Management Agency (RCEMA) and the National Weather Service (NWS), RCEMA / NWS Storm Spotter Training Class date for 2008 will be held at 7 PM at the County Building(416 S. Brady) by the Claremore EXPO on March 18th.

 The National Weather Service will provide two to three hours of instruction for any citizen interested in learning to work as a volunteer spotter for his or her local emergency services agency.  Completion will allow certification as a weather spotter.  There is no charge or advance registration, but those attending should plan to arrive by 6:45 pm to check-in.

This class is a prerequisite to the Advanced Weather Spotter Training class, and is required to stay current for certification for the Rogers County Emergency Management Agency's Skywarn Storm Spotter Group.
