ITEM I:       CALL TO ORDER

                             Chairman Gerry Payne called the meeting to order at 11:30 A.M.

 

ITEM II:      ROLL CALL

                             Chairman Gerry Payne and Commissioner Mike Helm were present.  Commissioner Randy Baldridge arrived at approximately 12:00 noon.

 

ITEM III:     AGENDA ITEMS
                                    1.  Possible discussion of Ambulance Service for Rogers County

                                                Rogers County Commissioners, Gerry Payne, Mike Helm and Randy Baldridge , along with area mayors were invited to the Claremore Chamber of Commerce luncheon for a special forum to present facts and answer any questions regarding the ½ cent sales tax that will be voted upon on November 8, 2005.  The sales tax will be dedicated to providing county-wide ambulance service and count-wide dispatching service.  Discussion was also held about the 911 Emergency wireless telephone fee in the amount of ($0.50) fifty cents per month for each wireless connection in the county as determined by the subscriber’s place of primary use, which is to be voted upon on November 8, 2005, also.  No action taken.

 

ITEM IV:     RECESS OR ADJOURNMENT

                                    Chairman Payne made a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Commissioner Baldridge seconded the motion.  Roll Call:  Payne-aye, Helm-aye, Baldridge-aye.  Motion carried.  Meeting was adjourned at 12:47 P.M.
