MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY

                  COMMISSIONERS, ROGERS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 219

                  SOUTH MISSOURI, COMMISSIONER’S MEETING ROOM 1-109,

                  CLAREMORE, OKLAHOMA, WEDNESDAY, MAY 7, 2008, AT

                  1:00 O’CLOCK P.M.

            Notice of said meeting was filed in the Office of the County Clerk on Monday,

            May 5, 2008, at 11:24 A.M. and posted on the Courthouse Bulletin Board;

            Outside the Commissioner’s Meeting Room; on the Exterior Window at the

            Southeast Entrance and Front Entrance to the Courthouse and on the Wheelchair

            Ramp Door.

 

ITEM 1:           CALL TO ORDER:                                                                                         

                                    Vice-Chairman Mike Helm called the meeting to order at 1:07 P.M.

 

                                                                                                                                               

ITEM 2:           ROLL CALL:

                                    Vice-Chairman Mike Helm and Commissioner Kirt Thacker were present.  Chairman Dan DeLozier was absent.

 

           

ITEM 3:           HEARING WITH POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING ADOPTION OF REVISED

                        SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS, DEVELOPMENT GUIDELINES, DESIGN

                        CRITERIA AND CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS OF THE ROGERS COUNTY

                        PLANNING COMMISSION:  

                                    Magan Green, Planning Commission Director, along with Brian Kellogg with Kellogg Engineering and Brian Green, Planning Commission Board Chairman were present at the meeting. 

                                    Commissioner Helm inquired if these changes will help us on what the county wants to do with plats?  Ms. Green replied yes, these are well thought out changes by the Planning Commission Board and Committee. 

                                    Brian Kellogg, Magan Green and Brian Green discussed in detail the items listed on sheets provided by the Planning Commission dated March 6, 2008, Planning & Zoning meeting changes to subdivision regulation draft and April 2, 2008, subdivision regulation committee meeting.  (***note*** see attachments for public record***)

 

 

ITEM 4:           RECESS OR ADJOURNMENT:

                                    Commissioner Thacker made a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Commissioner Helm seconded the motion.  Roll Call:  Helm-aye, Thacker-aye.  Motion carried.  Meeting was adjourned at 3:57 P.M.
